If you’re migrating from ENS (Easynet Solutions / EasyNetSites) to SocietyPress, the full step-by-step guide is at /ens-migration/ and covers every detail. This thread is the quick-reference index plus a place to ask specific questions other ENS migrants will be glad someone asked.

    **THE SHORT VERSION**
    1. Export the full member CSV from your ENS admin
    2. Install SocietyPress (one-click installer is fastest)
    3. Go to Members > Import, upload the CSV
    4. Verify a handful of member records look right
    5. Bring the rest: events, library, newsletters, records
    6. Cut your domain over when you’re ready

    **WHAT TRANSFERS CLEANLY**
Names, addresses, phones, emails, membership status, join dates, birth dates, directory privacy preferences, admin notes, and your ENS member record ID.

    **WHAT NEEDS TRANSLATION**
Country free-text → ISO codes. Yes/No active flag → active/inactive. Joint members: you choose combined or split.

    **WHAT DOESN’T TRANSFER**
Member passwords (everyone sets a new one via “Forgot password” on first login — this is by design, not a bug). Photo files (the CSV has filenames but not the images). Old ENS audit logs.

    **HAVE I MISSED SOMETHING?**
If you’ve migrated and hit something not covered in the guide, reply here. The next society will thank you.
